Terms of Use
Last updated September 10, 2026
These are the rules for using BizSpouse. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What BizSpouse is
BizSpouse is a research, recommendation and setup guidance service for people running or starting a business. We tell you what we would do, why, and what to do next. You decide what to actually do, and you are responsible for that decision.
Not professional advice
Nothing on BizSpouse is legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice, and using the site does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Business formation, licensing, tax and employment rules vary by state and by situation and change over time. For anything that carries real consequences, check with a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
No guaranteed results
We do not promise any particular business outcome, revenue, saving, approval or timeline. Anything described as hands on experience is one operator's experience with a specific business, and your results will differ.
Third party tools and links
The tools we recommend belong to their own companies. Their pricing, features, terms and availability are theirs to change, and your relationship for anything you buy is with them, not with us. Product names and logos belong to their owners, and their use here does not mean they endorse us or that we are affiliated with them beyond any affiliate relationship disclosed on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us, for keeping your sign in details private, and for everything done under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk copy, mirror or resell our research, recommendations, prompts or content.
- Do not try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its data.
- Do not use the site to break the law or to harm anyone.
- Do not misrepresent BizSpouse content as your own or as endorsed by a tool provider.
Our content
The BizSpouse name, the site, its written guidance, its research, its prompts and its design belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use them for running your own business. You may not republish, redistribute or build a competing product out of them.
Availability
The site is provided as is and as available. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of it, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limit of responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, BizSpouse and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or of any tool you found through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred United States dollars or the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, whichever is greater. You agree to cover us against claims arising from your misuse of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update. Questions go to dom@mybizspouse.com.
